<description>More on this project from WPP:

Good morning to all,

I am writing to update you on the progress of transforming the North Columbia Heights Green (NCHG).

After receiving approval from District Department of the Environment (DDOE) for our Site Plan, Stormwater Management and Erosion Control Plans, we now have our official Building Permit from the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) allowing us to move forward with the implementation and construction of our approved Site Plan.

Our contractor for the hardscape portion of the Green is preparing his timeline for scheduled work on the fence, the paving, and the bollards to be placed on site, and we will in the coming week, start the prepping and clearing of the site for the improvements to take place.

We are still concerned with the illegal dumping onto our site, and are trying to be diligent with our site inspections. Although not to the severity of prior instances, dumpers still ignore our signs and site protection fence and continue their illegal behavior. We continue to monitor as often as possible and look to completely rid this situation from happening while our improvements are taking place.

Once again, we thank you for your continuous support and patience with this process and look forward to the implementation of NCHG as a sustainable Green for the entire community.

Best regards,

Garry
