This is the internet home of the Friends of the Park at 11th and Monroe. The beautifully-refurbished park will be reopening any day. The Friends Group is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group dedicated to (1) keeping the park clean and safe, (2) maintaining and improving upon the park’s landscape, (3) making the park feel welcoming for all lawful users, (4) organizing reoccurring and special community events at the park (and serving as the point of contact for any group that would like to hold an event in the park), and (5) raising money for the park in order to keep it in tip-top condition.
